The cultivation of Glera (Prosecco) grapes is carried out with Dynamic Technology Plants, which allow to obtain an optimal ripening of the grapes and consequently a Prosecco with exaltation of all the aromatic characteristics and a great personality.

Prosecco San Carlo’s Top Quality has been obtained by using the most advanced Wine Cultivation Systems :
  • The vineyards , following huge plantation investiments, are cultivated through with DYNAMIC TECHNOLOGY .

  • The GLERA grape is harvested exclusively “ BY HAND “ .

  •  Thanks to a very limited use of non -harmful Fertilisers , we have obtained the APE ( = BEE ) Certification , Sustainable Quality , for the safeguard of the Species and Pollination .

  • The unique microclimate , and the Karst and Draining soil , allow for maximum Roots and Plants ventilation and great supply of Natural Nutrients .

  • DYNAMIC TECHNOLOGY optimises the irradiation and ripening of the grape GLERA, implementing the typical characters Organoleptic and Fruity and accentuating the great personality of PROSECCO SAN CARLO

Prosecco

The most sold sparkling wine in the world. An Italien Excellence.

A lively wine with a delicate floral and fuits aromas, typical of the "GLERA" grape grown in the sunny Karst soils, where the Alps on the north and the Mediterranean see on the south, create a microclimate area typical of the two north - eastern regions of the Italian Peninsula, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

PROSECCO wine boasts an ancient heritage. In the 1th century a.C. the naturalist Pliny the Old wrote that Livia, Roman Emperor Oclavianus Augustus's wife got aging extremely healthy, thanks the virtues of a northern legendary wine called "Pucino". After the 13th century the Pucino production area was identified around the PROSECCO CASILE, near Trieste city. In 1593, the English gentleman Fynes Moryson, included the "Prosecho" (Moryson - IV Vol. among ..the most famous Wines of Italy". By the 17th century the PROSECCO name was definitely adopted.

A double fermentation process called the Martinotti gives the wine its characteristic effervescence, enhancing its delicate fruits aromas.

The label PROSECCO wine is subject to a very strict Specification and Quality Control by The State's

Oenolology Department wich assures compliance with procedures for every single batch, by issuing a Guarantee

Stamp that must be sealed on the cork of the every single botile of wine sold. The label, by law, must indicate the Denomination, Characteristics, Area and Producer's Name.
